A truly Happy NEW YEAR!
As the bubbles get up your nose know! around the world we have toasted to our dear Friends and sung "Auld lang syne" by Rabbie Burns in honour of all on A day filled with good wishes to all.
Then Hehehehehehe! (sorry yes I am giggling!) Think of us as we lay about on the beach getting the warm sand between our toes watching the waves reach for the seashore as we sip an ice cold drink on these 105degF++ days.
I will not be blogging for a couple of days ONLY! because the holiday sun and the sand beckons us!! :)
Love to all of this Summer Saturday - See you all next year!

Oh that sounds so lovely. Hope you are doing well. Take care.
yeap I know that you are in Summer now. Seems odd to me because i have never known that kind of climate at Christmas and New Years...BUT living here now in South Eastern Georgia it is nice and in the 70's most days!! I want to wish you a WONDERFUL 2008!!

So glad that we have become blogging pals!!
Happy New Year from dark, chilly Scotland.
I hope, by the way, that you pronounced "syne" with an s sound and not a z one (not like "zyne") -English people always get it wrong. It means "since" and should be pronounced with the s sound. Sorry - just being a bit pedantic there!
Best Wishes to you and all of your family, Lee-ann.
I hope you're not really lying on the beach in 105º, but I hope you enjoy your time away.
We've had such pleasant weather that I'm not looking forward to it becoming too hot. Shame we can't mix it up with those whose weather is too cold...lol
Sounds like a great way to spend the New Year especially when you are in a damp, grey country in the northern hemisphere:) - I wish you health and happiness in 2008.
Have a safe, happy and great 2008 - about 20 days and I will be good old OZ... can't wait to get home... take care...
105 degrees? You're kidding? lol WOW! I can't imagine that-as I look out my window to the blowing snow and cold-and 30 degree temps! Enjoy your sun and sand and hope you have a wonderful 2008. :)
New Year is a time for celebration of love, of life, of friendship. It's the time to thank God for wonderful friends, and to bring to their lives as much magic as they bring to ours...so here's celebrating our friendship and praying that its magic continues forever. Happy New Year to you and yours dear Lee-ann! xoxo
Wishing you a blessed 2008...our temperatures are supposed to be in the 20's F tomorrow night.....last week our days were in the high 70's. What a change.....Betty
I love vintage things too and when I read about your pear tree I just had to share that I have an heirloom Gravenstein apple tree in my yard. It was well established when my parents moved here in 1949 and is still producing. Those apples make the very best pie and apple butter in the world!
Happy New Year to you.
Enjoy LeeAnn!!!
But do think of us a little bit. Hehe!!

Hi there and a very Happy New Year.
Thanks for leaving the info on my blog about your bridge. I didn't know where it was but I saw the photo on the internet and thought it was beautiful.
105 degrees!!!!! Yikes. Reminds me of why I want to leave the valley. Happy New Year LeAnne.

A very happy New Year to you and your family Lee-ann! I hope you've had plenty of time to lounge around on that wonderful, hot beach. Soak up a bit of that lovely Aussie sun for me please. I hope all is well with you and yours.
