Dear blogger friends "We have a date!" with the surgeon now it is either the 15th or 16th of this month.
Rob is having a lot of trouble sleeping and feels like he is choking all the time - these next few days cannot come and go quick enough until his operation.
On another note I truly wish we could send a little of this heavy rain we are having to the fire effected areas of America - we are thinking of you all.
Rob and I had a wonderful day today looking after four of our grandchildren wow! did they give us a workout!! no wonder Rob had to go straight to bed he was so tired. Just simple things happened like taking a gradson to school or a grand daughter to kinda, like holding the baby in your arms until she falls to sleep, or like the number three darling following poppies every move and copy cat action (puts a smile on my face as I see it in my mind)
BUT they are wonderful memories we will keep in our hearts forever.
This is our Monday - shared with a husband! I love!

Hi Lee-Ann, thanks for the update on your husband's surgery. We continue to pray for him. You certainly are blessed with beautiful grands. I know they enjoyed their visit as much as you two did!
Praise God for the date set. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Susan
So glad you have a date in site. May the Lord bless and protect as you wait on HIm
I'm thankful you have a date for the surgery Lee Ann. I pray the Lord will go before you and that everything will go perfectly well. I pray for good results and a quick recovery. I pray for peace for both of you and His dear presence.
It looks like a fun day with the grands, but I know from experience how tiring it can be. A lovely, good tired.
Such a relief to WHEN! Our best wishes that everything will go according to plan for the operation, and the outcome will be a total success.
Those grandchildren are so beautiful - what a blessing they are to you both, especially now.
Hugs to you both,
'Alice' and Richard.
I'm glad surgery is scheduled! It helps to at least have a date.
The grandchildren are darling. Thanks for sharing the photo! (Our granchildren are so precious, but it doesn't take long to wear us out!)
I'm so glad that at last you have a date for Rob's surgery, Lee-ann. Hopefully everything will turn out well. Prayers for that.
Your grandchildren are beautiful, precious flowers they are. They obviously love their Poppy to bits, and their Nan as well. Lucky children to have such loving grandparents.
Big hugs to you both. xo
Oh LeeAnn, another two weeks to wait - poor Rob. I can hardly imagine how uncomfortable he feels with that lump on his neck.
Ken is not good, but at least he is not as badly off as Rob as far as discomfort goes - he is just very tired all the time. I've posted an update on my blog since we spoke on the phone. It was great to chat though, but let's hope next time we are both happier little vegemites!
Love to Rob from both of us
