This is my Sunday.It feels like the beginning of spring the sun is shining and the air is gently moving the washing on my old clothes line.
When another season arrives you feel somehow renewed! this is how it is for me today on my Sunday.

As to your question of whether I am a mason?
I am neither a builder in stone and/or brick, nor am I a member of the fraternal order of Masons.
My Dad was an ameteur wordsmith and used the word "repast" frequently.
My heritage is French, Irish, (dad)English, Scottish, (mom), all via canada.
My profession is widely known by the accronym, CRNA, which stands for certified registered nurse anesthetist.

Lovely quilt. We are getting a hint of spring here too although I know there is a lot of winter to get through yet. We usually get most of our snow between now and early September. We do have lots of spring bulbs up already though.
It is good morning here in the states and it is Sunday...We are getting ready to go into Fall one of these days. The summer has been so HOT here. WE have had up to 108 during the days. We have had record heat waves here in Georgia. I love quilts too and have many of them from my mother, grandmother and great grandmothers. Yours is gorgeous. My mother quilts but I tried. I am not good at it at all. Happy Spring to you..Sandy
What a restful picture. The quilt slowing blowing in the breeze. I miss having a clothesline in the backyard. There's nothing quite like sheets and bedding dried in the fresh air.
I love handmade quilts and have a couple that were made by my mother in law before she passed away. They certainly are a treasure to be kept!!
I still dry all my laundry on a line, weather permitting. There's something so very satisfying and relaxing about doing it the old fashioned way!

Did you make the quilt, Lee-Ann? It's beautiful. I always put my laundry on the washing line (have some on the go at the moment) unless it's bucketing down, which isn't happening a lot at the moment.
Your daffodils are beautiful - harbingers of spring. I feel quite excited that spring and summer are just around the corner. Not that we really get the demarcated change of seasons hear, just cool and hot!

Such a lovely quilt - did you make it? I've always loved the look of washing on the line, even though I knew it meant that I would have to iron half of it eventually.

Yes the quilt is handmade and very special to me but I am sure you will understand the quality is not fantastic but the memories are worth a million dollars..........
My Grandma, mother, sisters, aunties and friends all made this quilt for me. Those who did not sew found the pieces of material and worked beside those who could teach them. None had made one before or not in a very long time.
At the time I had only been married for a couple of years with a little son and heading to live in Papua New Guniea for a couple of years with my husband and they made this for me knowing burgandy was the colour I loved the most and that it would remind me of the family I had at home.
They were all so keen they made enough to also make two pillow shams as well. I was thrilled and love it so much.
Again thank you all so much for letting me share this memory with you and for reminding me that dear friends new and old and family are so precious.
