Just random Photos around our Home on this Day

Some flowers from our garden - gosh don't look at the unpainted window sil! :o) builders renovate all their lives "that's us"
Some of my collection of vintage "crinoline lady" & "old world garden" pieces all dating back to the 1940s - 1950s
Just a little shelf in my kitchen "vintage country" that's me!
Our little lounge room were we gather each night and sit and chat or if family are home the tracks and thomas the tank comes out and fills the room full of laughter and chatter.
Most of all we enjoy sitting by the open fire visiting with friends in this simple little room.
This is my Wednesday.
foot note; I wish to express my sadness and deepest sympathy to our office lady & very valued girl friday! on the very sudden loss of her nanna last night. You, your family and nanna are in our prayers

Your little home looks just as cosy as I knew it would. I'd love to sit by that open fire with you, too.

LeeAnn,
I loved seeing this little part of your life. It's as cozy and inviting as I knew it would be! My oldest grandson was crazy for Thomas the Tank. I think I knew every story by heart!
Hope your cold is better!
((hugs))

You have such an inviting home and I LOVE all your vintage dishes! You have them displayed beautifully and the flowers are also gorgeous. I love country accents, that's my favourite kind:-)I so wish I had a fireplace...we had one at home while I was growing up and you'd forever find me curled up in front of it with a book:-) Hugs xoxo

I remember a cartoon from childhood in which this crow would go all glazed-eyed and mesmerized when he saw a shiny object and he would pant, "Sparkly! Sparkly!"and his eyes would roll around in a silly manner. I do the exact same thing when I see such an array of china! Ooooh, Sparklies!!! Pretty, Pretty Sparklies!

I've so enjoyed your spring pictures - so don't apologise! It's autumn here - though it's still very mild, it's getting dark by about 8.30 at night. It's lovely, but so odd, to see your daffodils, but it gives me hope that spring will come again here eventually.
