Three sisters

My sisters yep! this is us........................I have been sorting two travel cases full of photos and found this one of my sisters and me at my son's wedding.
I am the oldest of five and my sisters Julie (with the hat) came after me and Karen after her then two brothers.
We look the same and feel about things in the same way, we love each other But you could not get three more different people.
Julie is the career lady and with her husband they have made a wonderful success of their business. She is the keeper of family records and at times knows or should I say remembers moments from our past that are long gone from my head. She never had children but still shows to her many nieces and nephews a love that is very special. Family is everything to Julie.
Karen is a devoted lady, Her family come first in her life and she has a wise head on her shoulders like you would not believe. Karen has been the one to always control a family tiff! before it becomes a family war. (I am not sure if she likes being in that spot but that is who she is) But anyone say a word against "the family" and she would defend with her full force. Her family and first little grandchild adore her as we all do.
I am the one as I said in the middle and what can I say that you do not know already, I am proud to call these two ladies while both very different "my sisters and my friends" and they are part of my world I just cannot do without.
We all live in different states so thank goodness for conference chats. we can all natter!! at once even with our mum as well! and do so as often as we can.
blessings to them and all who pass this way.
Yes this is my Thursday.

I too would have loved a sister so I just chose one...she used to be my sister in law and distant cousin...so now we just claim each other as sisters!! Such a beautiful photo. The love and happiness that you share when together shines through, and no wonder when you feel such a strong family bond despite your personality differences.

May you have many more years of 'chats'.

How wonderful to be so close to your sisters. I'm an only child and have never had the pleasure of enjoying siblings.

Hi Lee-Ann

Welcome back and I'm so sorry you have been ill. I would check your blog each day and was so worried about you. Anyway, you're ok now so that's great.

Lovely photo of you and your sisters and your cute grandchildren. Don't they grow up fast?

Hope you stay well. You should now the warmer weather is here.

Take care and I'll catch up later

Dear Lee-ann ~ Thank you so much for your kind comments about the blind boy story and the jokes. We need to laugh!
I hope you got your seedlings in and
surely the frosts are over now. That bad one ruined most of the young fruit on all the orchards around Shepp.
Take care my friend, Love, Merle.

How lovely to have 2 sisters. I always wanted even one, like some of your other commenters. Now I have two wonderful grown-up daughters, and I often think that they're just what I would have wanted as sisters. I just wish we were all the same age - if that doesn't sound too ridiculous.

puss already said my bit, how special it is when someone has been 'away' for a while, and you just pop-in to see, and there is a post!

So, you are a 'middle' sister too, sounds like you have the 'traditional' line-up...
