RENOVATIONS - Words fail me!

Yes! Hello everyone I am still here but words have completely failed me right now.
I am in the renovation from hell!
My home is filled with drama's and men!
along with unframed walls beautiful pieces just stacked! while I am out another room just gets pushed to one side....................O! I feel ill.

I have no idear what they are doing up there but it didn't look like work more chatting!!!

came home to find this as you see it and I cannot get any were near it to even cover them now.
:(

Bathroom is still looking like the building side it is!!!

Yes! Rob sve more good vintage light fixtures (PLEASE!)

EVERY THING! just gets put out the back door and now it is Raining (thank you god!!) I think!!

We have had my vintage bathroom toilet set smashed by the "so called" plumber and he is missing again now two days.

I have had a flood of rain rushing in the roof over night!

We have had no power or warmth for days now!!!

RENOVATIONS - DO I SEE THE END DREAM?

NOPE!! NOT AT THE MOMENT.

Blessings to my dear blogger friends.

My Thursday ~ this is just a moment of power they (the electrician) has let me have that does not come from a power lead - so hello and see you all again soon.

I think about you all every day it keeps a smile on my face!

TRULY IT DOES!!

Good grief!

The horror that brought back from the time we had out kitchen completely gutted and a sun room added on. We live in the house for 6 months with no kitchen.

I feel for you Lee-Ann, I really do.

Dear Lee-ann, what a dreadful experience. Renovations are not meant to be a picnic, but this is ridiculous. And what's going to happen about the antique toilet set???

I wish I could wave a magic wand and make your dream renovation completed...

Hope it all gets sorted it out for you soon...I really think you need a new set of tradesmen, too.

Oh my Lee-Ann I would be totally upset!! I do not and I mean DO
NOT like messes!! I would be very very upset with all of this. That plumber is probably trying to please some other customer but he needs to let you know!! My hubby is a subcontractor and sometimes he has to be pulled off of one job to go and help another customer but he always explains to the one that he has to leave WHY He is leaving!! I think that if I did not get an explanation from that plumber I would find my self another one. What will happen with that antique toilet set that he broke? That cannot be replaced?
I miss you posting!! Go outside and scream...Sandy

Oh LeeAnn, I just read your blog out to Ken and he and I are both absolutely appalled. That dear little cottage - sounds like it and everything in it is going to be wrecked by careless tradesmen. Everyone knows we need the rain, but if only it wasn't right at this time when you need a week or so of fine weather until your home is back together again....If you want to get away from it all one weekend/day, you know where to find us.
Hugs to both of you,
Gina and Ken

Dear Lee Ann,
Words fail me too! I remember when our kitchen looked sort of like that! At least you still have your sense of humor! Keep smiling and keep your eye on the prize!

I think you need a long holiday in some tropical paradise and the date on your return ticket should state "may only be used after renovations are completed and everything has been cleaned up to Lee-ann's satisfaction".
