Last day of September ~ A special Sunday

This being the last day of September and a Sunday I wanted to share with you these photo's taken at our daffodil festival this September.
Our St.John's Anglican church had a flower show and it was around the theme
"All creatures great and small"
The church looked lovely and was a lot of fun and it raised money for charity, So please enjoy your weekend and I hope this post on the last Sunday in September will bring a smile to your face.

flowers and animals (Smiles)

A sheep dog!! sitting very quiet (smiles)

A cow! part of the choir (smiles)

My husband and friends!! (smiles)

Me and my friend!! Yes that is a pig and his rabbit back there (smiles)

A sheep giving the lesson for the day! (smiles)

All just a little fun and everyone from the children to the oldest enjoyed putting it together and found it a happy place to visit with friends.

As you can see one of the stained glass windows showing ~ Our shepherd with his flock.

What a charming idea! I love the sheep front and center of the alter! But what are those lovely blue flowered vines climbing up the archway? I've never seen those, Must be some kind of Aussie Bluebell?

That's just beautiful.

Hope all is well with you and yours, Lee-ann, and that the full time work didn't tire you out too much.

Take care.

Hello dear Lee Ann:-) I so enjoyed seeing your photos, love the idea your church had for this!! Lee Ann, I'm afraid I have to keep my Halloween Swap to just the States and Canada...most of my participants have told me they cannot afford to send overseas as it's so expensive. I'm so sorry but hope you understand!! xoxo

Coming from Pea to your blog. You have lovely photos in your blog.
I saw that you also would like to participate the halloween swap and I also can´t take part because of this reason.
I´m from Germany and I had never swap before, but I can imagine that it is too expensive to send from Amerika.
In Australia it is spring, did you have there halloween??? In Germany it is fall/autumn and winter is coming soon.

The daffodil festival is a nice idea especially with the inclusion of the animals. It seems odd to be reading about a daffodil festival in September though as it's an autumn month for us in the northern hemisphere. Enjoy your spring:)
