Our Miss A 1st.Birthday & Christening Sunday!!

A very special day! filled with much joy!! & Happiness.
Our darling grand daughter was christened Sunday and it was such a beautiful day because it was also her first birthday.
Her big brother and sister stayed very close to her while the service was held.

What a joyful moment

Then our daughter and son had us all go to a restaurant to enjoy a family gathering and great food as well as a very special cake. Miss A liked very much the balloons. (smiles)

O! yes a special day full of happiness for this little girl.

Cake that was fun it was all over the place but lots got into the mouth and it was delish!!

Four generations photos - My mum, me, my daughter and birthday girl my grandchild.

Our son Robert and Shelley

Their children our grandsons

The oldest in their clan

***********************
BUT the day begun with a very special rehearsal's and photos for big sisters ballet class so we rushed off to that first before the little sister had her christening.

Here is Miss F with her great grandma ready to go in to have photos taken, little miss riding hood for the ballet concert next weekend. (Her very first!!)

Here are some taking a tiny break to see how they should be placed. Miss F is the one with the hands folded at the back.

Her great gran was so proud as she had not been to ballet before.

My mother lives in South Australia and it was wonderful to have her and Ron over for the weekend they have gone home this morning and I miss my mum very much.

Love always dear mum you are the reason I smile, the reason I laugh and you I am proud to say are the reason I am who I am.

Our family loved being together this weekend and with son's daughter's grandchildren and great grandchildren all around it was wonderful.

This is my Tuesday!! compared to the weekend it is Nothing!!!

Here i am up way too early because of a silly pain pill that i took for my back...guess I just cannot take that any more.
i was wondering if you got snow there? I saw on TV that Australia received snow..wow...it is your summer there!!
Also have you heard about the new movie coming out this week called, "Australia"? I really want to see it because it reminds me of you and Robyn...two of my fine blogging friends.
