Ti's!! the season to be jolly!!

Tra,lul,lar...............

Oh! yes back to blogging instead of singing!!!

It is time to dress our tree and our home.............Vintage style!!! we only have vintage decorations and a few treasures from our past, like the ones from dear friends in Michigan or the darling pieces from our friends in Maine.......all dear to our hearts. Then there is the ones made by grandchildren they take pride of place on our tree!!

Our tree topper from the 1940's

We also have a friendly village scene my husband puts out (this is when it we in the Melbourne museum)
We have so many boxes of shiny brites and other vintage baubles it is awash with colour on our floor as we choose what to use.

O! my vintage Santa's hang always proudly on our feather tree.
my collection of chenille and other vintage pieces made in Japan.

more beautiful Japan pieces

Then there is the Santa, long tall ones short fat ones tiny ones and big ones!! Ooh! I look forward to putting them out again.

I will add some photos as we "Deck the halls" here at our place filled with our summer Christmas good cheer!!

This is my Monday off to have lunch with some local blogger friends now that is a nice way to spend a Monday!!!

I hope you had a good lunch with your friends.
Your decorations are very pretty. It is special when they have sentiments through friends. You mentioned ones in MI. I've from there but now live in SC.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Oh, Lee-ann, I want to go over to your house so that I can look and admire all those gorgeous vintage ornaments you have!!! As you know, I love vintage ornaments and have decorated my tree with the ones I've been able to find in the last couple of years. I was able to get some Shiny Brights from eBay but ouch, the cost I had to pay for shipping was painful! lol xoxo
