Do you remember the Vintage high tea? "Well"

Well Yes! the high tea "Remember this"

My Friends, mum, daughter and grand daughter at the high tea. It was very grand and a lot of fun.

105 ladies made this possible today and with thanks to Grand Lodge for helping us dollar for dollar we were able to hand over a cheque for $6,000.00

Yes yesterday we happily handed the Starlight Children's "make a wish" foundation A CHEQUE!!

Here is Annabel (from starlight) and me with the large cheque.

AND it was the best feeling knowing that all that fun and good spirit of the vintage high tea is now going to help make a wish come true for a very ill child.

They said we had made a wish come true for a child for Christmas but in fact our wish is the one that first came true and that was to do the very best we could to "help children adding a little happiness to their lives"

There is nothing more important in this world then our children and this has been an adventure of a life time.

So God bless the child who's wish we could grant for them!!!

Captain starlight's had a little fun with the photos as well!! There is at right Brian our lodges treasure, Rob my husband and master of Zetland lodge, Barry Grand lodge secretary, Annabel from Starlight, Captains and myself

Here we are in the Starlight room, a place if you are a child in Hospital or just a sibling of a child who is ill to simply escape for awhile and have a lot of fun!!

Thank you to Freemason's Grand lodge of Victoria and here we are those who can be proud to say "We did it!"
Annabel myself and Barry.

I also wish to thank every Member of Zetland lodge no 25 in Kyneton every man and woman associated with the lodge for their help, hard work and encouragement, it was fantastic to have you all by my side to help with my dream of a High tea! raising money of ill Children.

Now all there is to do is unpack these vintage trios and start planning the next one....(SMILES)

This was the best Wednesday I am sure of my life!!!

What a fabulous amount, Lee-ann. Well done to you and the other high tea participants. It's so nice to be able to do something for some less fortunate than ourselves, isn't it? Congratulations.

High Tea indeed! With finger sandwiches and petit fours!!! Yes ma'am! Good going on that fund raising! WOW! $6,000! That should take care of a couple of wishes shouldn't it? (suppose it depends on the wish...) But that is a great job! Congrats to Starlight for having you to work for them!

What an astonishing effort, Lee-ann, and I bet you enjoyed Wednesday nearly as much as the high-tea itself. Congratulations.

I hope you and Rob and the whole family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Oh, Leeann, I'm so proud of you! You put soooo much work into your tea and the amount you raised is remarkable. How wonderful to know that money will bring joy to some sick little kid and his family. Are you really planning another tea for next year? How I wish I could come help you bake and set tables and serve.

We (YOU?) are going to do it again next year, aren't we? Brigid, Helen and I will be there again, and hopefully will bring some more blogger buddies!

I thought I had left a comment on this post but don't see it.
I think your High Tea sounds delightful.
I have had tea parties for my granddaughters when they were small and I loved it just as much as they did.
You certainly made a lot for the foundation.
