Happy NEW YEAR!!!

THANK YOU ALL MY BLOG FRIENDS AND FAMILY:
For listening to "Danny boy" its now time for a change to my music.
But if you want to listen to it again just go to bottom of my blog page and there it is!!
The music that I am playing is a sentimental journey that I go down every New years.
It's a journey with my dad, for my dad, who we lost to cancer several years ago.
This was his song - This is how we my sisters and brothers remember him. singing his song on New years eve.
O! how he loved us his family, his grand children and O! how we loved him.
Coming from Scotland all those years ago and not only falling in love with Australia but also with our mum. Their love brought into the world 5 children and now there are also 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren as well as loving daughter & sons in law. Our path (his path) is set forever in the books of history.

So as we (our family) listen to this his song, Danny boy and a tear rolls down our faces we remember New Years days from our past - and New Years days forever with you singing 'Danny boy" dad.
So to the best! singer we knew who always sang his song Danny boy! as the clock chimed

12 o'clock the beginning of a new year and a new chapter would begin in our lives.

Cheers!!! To all!

May your year be blessed with all those things that make your hearts sing.

May you find wisdom and joy under ever door way on your paths journey in 2009.

So!!! Cheers!!! Dad!! William Roger Hamilton Goodfellow

(now don't you get upset sisters)

This is my New years day Remembering those gone before me making ready my place beside them.

Lovely post, Lee-Ann. It reminded me to ask you if you watched the Tattoo on ABV2 last night (New Years Eve I mean). It was great - Ken taped it, so if you missed it, we'll do a copy for you.
Happy New Year!

A Happy New Year to you and yours, Lee-ann.
