Dear Blogger Friend:...........

Yes Dear Blogger Friends.....
Our world is a little topsy! turvy!
BUT.............We see sunshine at the end of our long tunnel.
Rob goes into hospital on the 25th Feb. for radiation treatment and will be there in isolation for several days.
The doctors have been worried because he has had two little strokes since Christmas but as they effect only his speech for several moments they have not put him in hospital these times.
We try to make our days busy as anything and have goes leaps and bounds ahead with our family tree..................Genealogy is a wonderful thing to spend some many hours researching together.
I am still at work and in fact are there at the moment 5.1/2 days a week while the boss is on holidays.
Rob is also back at work (some of the time!) He feels the need to do that and his new car is helping the travel ( a real smooth ride)
We have had grandchildren here for sleep overs and have been to birthday parties of them too. Gosh they are all growing far too quickly, why the oldest grandchild will be ten this year. and if that isn't bad enough for this grandmother his father will be 40!!! goodness me.
I have thought of my many Blogger friends over the past two months missing your Christmas displays and the wonderful table settings or even just who is doing what.........But I think of you all often and we know here things will be back to normal very soon and so will my blogging I am sure.
Below are some photos of our searching for family and it is amazing how many family members tell us O! yes I have a photos someplace of old auntie Lilias!! etc. Also the photo of Rob at the cemetery finding were the family are is were you will find us most weekends at this time it has been a wonderful discovery journey.

James Albert Hamilton (Rob's grand father)

Saville Hamilton (Robs Uncle)

Were an auntie is resting!

Another relatives resting place.

(This is a sad one) his great grand mother on his dad's side, his grand mother, and three unmarried aunties rest here with no marker or note to say..........we are going to fix that! straight after Rob has been in hospital.

Blessings to all on this Friday! a windy summers days in Victoria Australia!

Glad to hear that Rob is doing better, and there is hope.
Staying busy and keeping your life on a schedule helps take your mind off the "what if's", I've experienced this first hand lately.
Lovely to see you back !

Oh, Lee Ann!!

It's SO wonderful to see you here again!!! I've missed your cheery posts and all the nice family times you write and photograph so well.

And it's lovely to know that you are having a time of quiet together, to get the family tree organized. I know that's a rewarding and satisfying AND illuminating task---I'll bet you've learned about relatives you didn't know you had.

Somehow I followed a lovely sponge cake to the rosy picture of your Mum holding it, then the link to her birthday, and the picture of you three "in the back having fun" as you all just smiled like you were in Heaven---I'm smiling right now, and my cheeks are getting tired from the contagious happiness.

Please keep us posted on Rob's progress---you are one of my favorite couples, and I love how you love each other and your family.

I thought of you today when Our Littlest Grand and I had tea at four---she had a cup of cambric tea, and drank from a real teacup for the first time. Mostly she stirred it---that's one of her most fun things.

Dear Lee Ann, I'm so sorry to hear your world has been so topsy turvy during these past months!
What a blessing to know there's a light at the end of the tunnel though. My prayers will be with you and Rob.
The genealogy is a wonderful passtime for keeping you both occupied while trying to stay away from the "what if" thoughts.
I always smile at the old photos of very young boys in dresses with their longer curls. It's impossible to tell their gender by just looking :)
Yes, those grandchildren grow fast! Our youngest will be 6 in 2 weeks and we'll be going out to stay for his party weekend.
Blessings to you and Rob on this winter's day, February 1st. We have cold temps with light snowfall, but sunshine as well to brighten the day!
Sending hugs! xoxo

Dearest Lee-ann,

How wonderful to see a post from you, you have been sooo missed!! Please know that I'm keeping Rob in my prayers and will be thinking of him as he goes for his radiation treatment. It's good that you two have been going on with your lives and keeping busy, I think that's the best thing to do.

I've always been fascinated with Genealogy and isn't it just so satisfying when you can find a family member from days gone by and even find their final resting places.

Take good care of yourselves and looking forward to your next post, whenever you have a chance to do so. xoxox

I have been doing more genealogy too. It's a wonderful hobby and certainly keeps us at the computer, sometimes until I can barely keep my eyes open!

Hi LeeAnn and Rob, just dropping in here to wish you both a very happy Easter. Not sure whether to do it here or email you direct! I guess you'll pick it up sooner or later! We've had a busy two days catching up with friends, and Sunday will be spent with Ken's family (here). Monday is free though - what about you guys?
