I HAVE STARTED BREATHING AGAIN!!!

O! my gosh!
could it be possible could it almost all be over and!!!
COULD WE BE SO LUCKY!
Rob is home now he has been in the Austin Hospital in isolation for a few days while the radiation he swallowed did its job. We must have talk on the mobile phone for about 22 hours of the 24 in a day while he was there.
The scan looks good but we will know in a few days if we are truly free of this disease that is taking over (WAS TAKING OVER) his body.
What wonderful doctors he has working with him and what wonderful staff there are in the hospitals.
I just feel like I can breathe again and it must be months since I did that..........I didn't know you could hold your breath for so long.
*******************************
I look forward to Rob getting back to good health I look forward to him smiling and laughing again and I very much look forward to taking a long slow walk on a beach, with him holding my hand like we used to do.
We are truly blessed, truly joyful and happy knowing we may just have beaten this head on!!
I cannot thank you all enough for your blessings your prays and good wishes of hope I am so lucky to know all of you and very soon as life takes on its "normal" again I will be visiting and blogging with a rush to catch up on EVERYONE of your posts.
*****************************
Gina I wish your dear darling good wishes on his road to better health.
Gabrielle I wish you wonderful moments with your first grand child and pray her fight to begin her life will see her a happy child and woman.
Denise dear USA Friend your photos of your second darling grand child put smiles on our faces here and how proud of their mothers (those little girls all those years ago who came to Australia to visit us)
Life truly is a WONDER! AND A BLESSING.
This is my dear day wish my dear husband.................I do have so much to tell you all but that is for another day.

You are so sweet. I am glad that you have made such progress. I will be sending you the most positive vibrations an earthly being can that I read in a post you write how you walked that walk on the beach. Until then, we all love you.

OF COURSE I will visit you! What a wonderful thing that is happening to you and your dear husband! He will be home soon and all will be well!
I know I was recently here to visit you. It sounds as though you had lots of faith and it seems that faith goes a long, long way. Especially for your husband. The mind is a powerful thing.
It controls the body so much more than we even know.
It was sweet of you to stop by. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. It was really difficult for me to write it.

Seems we always want to present and "up" face to the world..but life, well, you know the saying! Now it is your husbands, and your turn to be on top once again!
You have faced the worst and beaten it. I am joyous for you!!

Hugs and lots of love goes out to you and your dear husband.

Hi Lee-Ann,
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment. I'm delighted that you are a new follower!! I wonder, is the friend you mentioned Gina of Petra's Place? She's my Australian blogger friend who has a wonderful linen collection.

I'm so happy to read that your hubby is on the road to recovery. What a blessing! I hope you can take your walk on the beach very soon.

What a treat to see the message from you today - and it has been so long since I've been over to Australia to visit you that I had no idea the trauma you have been going through. I am thankful to hear that your dear hubby is doing so much better. What a blessing!

We'll definitely be keeping in touch!

Dear Lee-ann - I was so thrilled to see your posting and to know that Rob's treatment is over and he will soon be home. Then you can BOTH breathe again. Although you must have had plenty of breath in reserve to talk 22 out of 24 hours.....lol.

Relax and enjoy each others company again, celebrate just being together, and may God grant you peace and strength as He continues to make Rob well again.

Love and hugs always -
'Alice'

Note to Patricia - yup, that's me! (Gina E. - not the other Gina who has posted a comment here too)
LeeAnn - great news about Rob, and thanks for your concern about Ken. He may be getting a pacemaker installed as a last resort, as his heart is too weak to cope with a bypass op. We'll know more in a week or two.

Oh this is such good news. I am looking forward to hearing that the scans are confirmed, that the disease has been conquered. Being able to breathe free again is a wonderful thing is it not?! Amazing how when you finially get to the other side of a thing then you recognize how long and deep you have been holding things in.
