Mothers day..............MY MUM!

Happy Mothers day to my mum.

While it is so nice to tell you this Sunday on mothers day I love you, to tell you just how much you mean to me and how much I care..............I do, not just this Sunday but every day of the year think how lucky I am to have a mother like you. How lucky I am you are the grandmother of my children and a great grandmother to their children we are truly blessed you are in our lives.

WE LOVE YOU EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY!

Hello to my blogger friends I just want to share with you all today a little about my dear mother and what better way to do it then with some of my loved photos of her and what better time then at this time mothers day this Sunday.

This beautiful photo is on my mothers wedding day.

I love everything about this photo her dress, the flowers the flower girl and the bridesmaids.

I also adore the way it shows the love my mother had for my dad on that very special day in their lives.

The blush of her cheeks and the love in her eyes tells you how happy this very young bride was on her wedding day.

Some of my blogger friends have seen this photo before it is of my grandmother and mother my sister and I am the big sister!

Mum always dressed us in the most beautiful clothes and cared about us very much she made many of our outfits and I can remember growing up, each Christmas we all got a brunch coat and shortie pajamas all made by mum in secret while we slept dreaming of Christmas.

Proudly I want to share with you this beautiful photo of my mum she has been an artist all of my life and I guess that is why my clothes she made always had a little extra trim or embroidery on them it was the artist in her.

Mum has found the time bringing up five children to be an art teacher and an artist who has works all over the world finding their way into many homes and while she is now in her 70s she still has time to teach in the medium of china painting but mum's skills are very much in any medium that she wants to put her hand to. I do not often tell her how proud of her art I am but I am, very proud of her and of the beautiful pieces she doe's and in fact so does my daughters and sons and their children. why the last time she was here in my state her great grandchildren asked her to paint a little something on their walls so Mr J has a big spider sitting above his light switch and miss F has a lady bird there as well...........they still show everyone who comes to visit them what their great nanni with the new knee painted for them. ((smiles))

So see mum generations of your family are so proud of your artand YOU!

There may be many miles between us this day but my heart beats because you brought me into this world and it beats with love for you every day.

I know there are many this mothers day and this year who have lost their mothers and to you I send my hugs and my hopes that they see you and they are with you within your hearts always.
