A few more Photo's from my trip away

A couple of days off school when you are in prep is ok! if you get to play on a swing near the beach, eat hot fish & chips and tease the seagulls into thinking they will get some.
This little grandson had the BEST! time with all the ladies fussing over him.

We truly ate too much but it was such a great idea eating in and not going to restaurants we had more fun getting it all ready then we would have just sitting at a restaurant table I think anyway.

Yes the purple drink was a special made by one of the ladies (adults only drink) and it was yum! I just wish I could remember what it was called......."I'll find out " Everyone helped with the meals here are two great helpers making the pancake batter for pancakes and bacon breakfast. Looks like it was a very important job! too.

Now I want to thank with all my heart Tea at teaandmargaritas.blogspot.com for the very lovely magazine that arrived the day I was heading off on this holiday. It was a complete surprise and the mag is great...................As you can see I took it with me BUT I did not get to read it because very one else wanted to first here is my sister J who makes the best soups and can read it appears at the same time.

Thank you so much Tea it was so kind of you to send me a Canadian Living just filled with all the things and info I love.

There are so many photos on our holiday but I know you all must know by now it was a great time had by all.

Thank you for letting me share them with you.

I am going to publish another post tonight because I now am living a "house from Hell renovation" this week and I will be needing some sympathy! :) smiles!!!!

This is my Friday thus far!!!!!!

Your pictures from your trip are such fun. Cooking and sharing meals makes for great times.
I'll be glad to send you some tea and sympathy if you're remodeling. I lived through that last year. Not fun (until it's done that is!!)

These photos really made me smile! From the seagulls waiting for a handout, to the the little helpers in the kitchen, to all the delicious looking food (I must know how that purple drink is made!)....it was all a wonderful account of your memorable trip! Thank you for stopping by my blog recently and your lovely words!

What a letdown, after the lovely trip away, now stuck in the middle of renovations. However, it will all be worth it in the end. I'll think of you as we zoom by on Sunday, we only have two days in Castlemaine as we are going to the Carlton game on Saturday night. Can't wait to see the dam, must remember to bring the camera this time.

Sounds like you'll need to keep looking at those holiday snaps long and often to help you through those renovations. Best of luck with them.

Looks like you had bunches of fun. Vacation just includes eating too much automatically...No excuses needed.

Take care,

It has been such fun to read about your adventure with the women in the family. There's nothing like a good gab fest without the men folk is there?

Thanks for letting us go along via pictures. I enjoyed it.

Sounds like you had just to much fun and I agree about staying at home for the meals. You can act up and no one gives you dirty looks. I bet the pancakes were good.

I love the photo of your multitasking sister. I always read when I can, for example when brushing my teeth. Looks like such a great holiday.

I've enjoyed reading about your holiday away with the women of the family. I'm glad you all had a wonderful time and I agree that it's more fun to cook and eat in when on such a holiday. I bet you all laughed a lot, too. That's nice that "tea" sent you Canadian Living magazine - it IS a good one and I read it whenever I can.
