It is show and tell Friday again so
Thanks to our host Kelli at http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/ "There is no place like home"
This is my "SHOW & TELL" today.
Many of you know we are renovating and lots of my vintage pieces in fact most of them are packed away for the renovation to end and then they can come out for me to play with them again.
But I insisted that my kitchen sideboard would stay "dressed" and it would help me get through the renovation to the end dream. bigger rooms to fill with vintage. :)
Here is my sideboard inside and out from top to bottom..........
And still a little bit more, I adore green depression glass and use it every day for salads, desserts and just about anything.
Inside the bottom cupboards - this is my "friendly village" Johnson bothers china. It was made in England for the American market and I have a setting for over 48 people and that includes cup & saucers along with all the plates side plates bowls and serving dishes.
You will always find it on our dressed Christmas table.
More inside the bottom part.
Another view of the bottom part.
The draws filled with mystery that I know a grand daughter one day will explore.
This draw holds my grandmothers breakfast cutlery or flatware and the cake set etc. all hers.
The last draw with more treasures that I love.
This is my "show & tell" for this wonderful Friday 31st of August 2007 a lovely day almost over and then............................."its spring!!" :)
Blessings to all

Unbelievable! I can't believe you have so many treasures in that sideboard! I'm sure a granddaughter will love exploring!
Love it! Great sideboard and love how you arranged everything!
Now that is just one big treasure chest!!! I think I could stand there for hours and still find something new to see.
Take care,
Connie
Mine is up.
As always, I love looking at your green stuff, Lee-ann.
Wow, what a great collection of priceless treasures!! And I love the fact that you're looking to the future of granddaughter having and perhaps sharing the treasures with a great display someday, in HER home!!
My show n tell is shared
Your green depression glass is beautiful. Service for 48!!! I have never known anyone with that large a service set.
Susan
Let's ALL go to Lee-ann's for a big, big party.
I can scarcely believe you have a setting for 48 people!! Did you buy 8 sets, or was it a setting especially made for catering purposes. Wonderful!
I like all your collections....you are a kindred spirit indeed.....
How wonderful to have some of your grandmother's things....Betty
How lovely everything looks! I love the sideboard by itself, as well. I recently picked up a thrifted Johnson Brothers cup and saucer for $4.99! It's a different pattern from yours, but I LOVE it.
Wow! What a collection of treasures. Your grandchildren will love all of the stories that you can share with them about each treasure.
Thanks for your visit and kind comments. Please stop by again!
May you have a day filled with love and laughter!

I think your sideboard has elastic sides, Lee-ann. Or it's a Harry Potter special, ie a magic one. You have some lovely things and it's great that you have a lovely place to keep them.
Oh LeeAnn, how I would love to be able to go over and admire every little treasure that you have!!! Such beautiful vintage dishes...every time I see green depression glass in the antique shops I think of you:-) I love it that you use it every day also!! Absolutely wonderful sideboard!!! xoxo
