LATE for Show & Tell? GOSH! I hope not

It's FRIDAY!
Lovely~we get to do Show & Tell agian today.
Kelli is our host so go and take a look at all the great bloggers who are doing their show & tell's to share with us right about now!
I SO! very much want to show you some new pieces of an afternoon teaset I have bought for a very special reason.

It is Crown Ducal~ made in Engalnd and the pattern is a beautiful name it is "Florentine"

I have been collecting many afternoon teasets (all different) and other pieces for a vintage high tea but will tell you all about it further into this month. I can tell you it is going to be a lovely woman's event here in our little town and I will be the host.

It is such a lovely set and in such good condition, I think it is from around the 1940's or 50's and I got it from England winning an auction and then some four months later it arrives at my door yesterday. I am so proud to be the new owner and will treasure it always.

I just love the pale cream of the plates, the little band of green and the bouquet of flowers in the centre.

I must rush about tonight ~ but could not leave without putting up my "show & tell"

If you have a little moment please take a look at my post before this one I can tell you I am one very proud nanni! that is for sure.

Cheer's to you all dear friends - This is My Friday!

Hi Lee-Ann! Your new tea set is beautiful! I especially love the embossed detail on the saucer and around the cup. I can't wait to hear all about the town tea you will be hosting. Sounds like lots of fun!
