A little bit of bad news!

(here we are at the 1859 victorian evening)

Look we are not worried
Well we are trying not to worry

Ok!

I am more worried then my darling man!

The doctors have found three lumps in his thyroid
One is rather large and he is feeling unwell.

He will be visiting a surgeon this next week and the specialist wants it out straight away thyroid and all.
Please think of him when next you have a moment to spare.
I truly cannot think of anything else to talk about on this
My Sunday!

Oh, my Dears!!

I will be thinking of you every day. Please let us hear from you from time to time.

You two look simply stunning in your formal dress---and your guy is remarkably like a younger version of my own---doncha just LOVE a guy in a neat beard?

Lee-ann it must be a worrying time for you both so take care.

A friend of ours had a similar problem and has recovered very well.

Candle and prayers on their way for Rob and you.

I had 2/3 of my thyroid out when I was 20 years old. I had a rapid recovery and I pray the same for your husband. Blessings, always. Barbara

This is such a lovely photo of you both, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I know you need to keep working for the same reason as we do, but perhaps this is a warning sign to Rob to take some time out and rest. It has been a bad year for most people, and we all need to think seriously about looking after ourselves and each other. I know you look after Rob 100% and vice versa, but how about a short break away from it all?
I'll call you VERY soon, okay?
{{{{hugs}}}} from us both.

Ooh, Lee-ann. I do feel for you and understand your concern, but stay positive. At least they're doing something and having no thyroid gland is not a problem nowadays, because the hormone can be replaced with medication. However, you are both in my prayers. Good luck!

Dear Lee-ann - I'm sorry I missed this post, and very sad to hear the news about Rob.

Like all of your friends, I too will be praying for a good outcome from Rob's operation, and hope that he will be fit and well again very soon, and back where he belongs - right by your side as head of your wonderful family.

Love and hugs to you both.

I have not visited you for awhile. I had a similar situation when I was not quite 21 years old and have been just fine ever since, that was 45 years ago. So I hope your husband will have the same success.
