My Favourite cream apple slice!

***************Cream Apple slice*****************
Just love the idea of sharing this recipe with you all and seeing as I am making it today, today is a good time to share this very easy and very popular slice!
Warning!!! they will eat it before it has even cooled (believe me!)
1 plain Packet cake mix in bowl

Mix in 4oz melted butter. Then press into greased slice tin. cook in mod. oven for about 20 mins. till light golden brown. then cool.
then you will need 425g tin of pie apple or your own cooked apple cooled. Along with 1. 300ml carton of sour cream.
Place chopped pie apples over the top of the cooled base.

Then Spread the sour cream over the top of the apples.

Sprinkle lightly with a cinnamon & sugar mix and then bake for 8-10 mins in mod. oven. This is what it should look like when it comes out of oven.

Now best served very cold but as you can see the men in my life today could not wait for that!! now could they.

It is a beautiful dessert but a beautifully enjoyable slice when served cold........but you will have to take my word for that I think that has happened only once in all the time I have made it.

This is a lovely day in my life a Saturday with family!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's so nice to finally meet another Australian.
I love all your daffodils. It gets too hot up here for them unfortunately. And I love your cute green jug. And how do you work in an op shop and not take all those cute things home. I loved the little blue and white tea set.

That recipe looks great! I'm going to try it very soon. First, I need to convert the measurements. Shouldn't be too hard with all the tools available on the web! The magic of the internet...now if I could just pop over there and have a bite of yours, how easy that would be! (Of course if the men didn't finish it off before I got there lol) :)

That does look like a great recipe ... but I'll have to do a bit of conversion on the measurements ;) ... I do like you kitchen scale holding up the fruit. Just today I mentioned on my gardening blog how that is my next quest for canning supplies.

I know this recipe and can vouch that it is very yummy. I have not been by to se what you are up to for a while so..G'Day Lee Anne. What I wanted to tell you was that yesterday I went for a drive around and went up to the lookout in Duntroon and took some pictures, thinking of your Mum. I thought when I get them posted that your Mum would like them.I have to go there again to clean the bosses house on Wednesday it is a gorgeous 2 story colonial place and is being refurbished. That will be the 3rd house we have done in Duntroon.
